Luminescent and dosimetric properties of magnesium oxide ceramics synthesized by a high-energy electron beam

چکیده

For the first time, samples of magnesium oxide ceramics were obtained by a method based on irradiation powders with beam fast electrons. Luminescence centers associated intrinsic and impurity defects found in samples. A comparative analysis thermoluminescence (TL) curves dose dependencies TL MgO radiation thermochemical methods is carried out. The linear dependence peak at 370 K excited pulsed electron (130 keV, 1.5-30 kGy) shown to be main advantage for their use dosimetry. Possible reasons improving linearity characteristics newly created comparison analogs are discussed. Keywords: oxide, thermoluminescent dosimetry, response, oxygen vacancies, cathodoluminescence.
